Couples in love are my favourite.
I absolutely adore photographing love stories; and am always so inspired by them! I strive to capture you two in a way that will feel natural to you. By directing you and helping you feel relaxed, but also helping the session feel as much as a date as possible. I will prompt you two to do fun things together and love each other so intentionally during this time. I am here to assure you that I not only want to be your photographer the day of the session, but I love to help you in the weeks and months leading up to your session. There are so many details I love helping with.
It's important that you find a photographer whose work you love, but I believe it's equally as important to find someone that will capture you and your partner in the most authentic way.

The first snow of the year all seemed to come in one day this year. Dreamily enough... that was the same day as my session. So we got this beautiful mix of the pretty pond behind them with snow covered trees.
Matthew & Susanna are such a sweet couple. It was a privilege to photograph their love.
These two are literally one of the most relaxed, expressive, photogenic couples I have ever photographed!! (Sounds dreamy hey!!?) They were so sweet to each other and so expressive with their love to one another! (Which makes my job so much easier) I was so inspired by them, so we created some of my favourite photos to date!

Shaelyn has been one of my lifelong friends, we always dreamed of doing a couples session for her and her person one day... well I would say it was worth the wait!! This session was so dreamy!! And these two are so perfect for each other!! Hopefully there will be many more sessions in the future!!
Would you believe me if I told you these two were nervous about looking awkward in front of my camera?
This is something I hear often during sessions… and seriously you guys don’t look awkward at all!!!! My only hope and expectation for you during sessions is just to relax and have fun!!! I’ll take care of the rest and help you not “look awkward!”
If this is something you’re super nervous about absolutely feel free to tell me that! One thing that really helps (and this couple backed me in this…) is to do an activity…. Have a sweet little picnic like this…
Go canoeing… Go for a bike ride… Bring some animals…
This often helps you focus on these things instead of the camera!
